The Historic Center

The city center is pedestrianized and offers a pleasant stroll between shops and historic monuments.

Venture down Rue du Sauvage (named after Adolf Hitler) to Place de la Réunion. The building facades are very colorful, like the old town hall in pink. The Saint-Etienne temple is the tallest Protestant church in France! The Tourist Office has created a Street Art tour.

Lunch Break

Our favorite place for local food is the Winstub Factory. As the slogan suggests: it's "Alsatian and Stylish." Alsatian or homemade specialties, often quite original but always authentic and delicious.
